A Lexmark Case Study
Barron Collier Company, a Naples, Fla.-based diversified business with major agricultural, real estate, and mineral operations, needed to improve its accounts payable process. Its centralized AP team was manually routing paper invoices, entering data into Dynamics GP at the end of the process, and dealing with overflowing storage and limited invoice visibility. Lexmark’s Perceptive Content was selected to replace the paper-heavy workflow and make the process more efficient.
Lexmark implemented Perceptive Content, Perceptive Workflow, and Perceptive Envoy to scan, index, route, and validate invoices electronically while integrating directly with Dynamics GP. The new system automated payables, eliminated double entry, improved approval controls, and gave staff immediate visibility into invoice status. Barron Collier also reduced paper handling and storage needs, with invoices now searchable within a day and documents retrievable in seconds.
