Avis Europe plc, a leading car rental company operating across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, needed a way to share documents quickly between its new Budapest Business Support Center and offices across Europe. To support a more efficient, paperless operation, the company chose Lexmark’s ImageNow document management, imaging and workflow solution.

Lexmark implemented ImageNow, integrating it with multiple legacy systems and financial applications without programming. The result was instant, single-click access for about 800 users, faster invoice approval, and reduced postage, storage and office supply costs. Avis also reported that electronically sending invoices cut about a week out of the process, improving month-end workflows, accuracy, and customer service.
