ASR, one of the Netherlands’ largest insurance and financial services companies, needed to cut costs, improve customer communications, and replace an aging ECM system that would be expensive to upgrade. The company chose Lexmark and its Perceptive Content platform to manage process and content more effectively across its organization.

Lexmark implemented a scalable content management solution that digitized and routed incoming mail, email, and eForms into automated workflows, migrated 300 million documents, and integrated content with SAP applications. The results included faster handling of about 2 million documents per month, better access to personnel and business files, improved customer self-service through the “My ASR” portal, and a lower total cost of ownership with payback expected within two years.
