ASM Research worked with the Army National Guard Bureau to find an enterprise document management, imaging, and workflow solution that could support HIPAA compliance, require minimal hardware investment, and keep lifetime costs low. The Bureau chose Lexmark’s Perceptive Content to improve access to medical records and support its medical readiness initiative.

Lexmark implemented Perceptive Content with web services integration across five MODS applications, giving users instant access to soldiers’ medical documents directly from online screens. The result was subsecond retrieval for more than 20 million records, faster medical processing and reimbursements, reduced manual work, and scalable performance even in low-bandwidth and deployed environments across all 54 states and territories.
