Arteris, a Brazilian highway operator managing more than 3,250 km of roads, faced a costly and error-prone invoice processing challenge due to manual handling of large volumes of paper and electronic invoices. The company needed better visibility, compliance, and control across its finance operations, and turned to Lexmark’s Kofax TotalAgility platform to automate invoice capture and link documents directly to its ERP environment.

Lexmark implemented a digital invoice-processing solution that captured both paper and e-invoices, integrated them with SAP ERP, and rolled out across ten group companies. The results included processing 3,000 documents per company in just two days with one person instead of a week with three people, significant productivity and cost savings, improved audit readiness, and reduced risk of fraud and compliance issues.
