Anchorage School District, which serves nearly 49,000 students across 100 schools, needed a faster, more accurate way to process employee information changes. Its paper-based workflow caused delays, misfiling, and manual reconciliation across departments, so the district turned to Lexmark and used Lexmark MFPs with Interact for Lexmark.

Lexmark implemented an automated, paper-free workflow that scans forms, routes them electronically to three departments at once, and archives them digitally. As a result, employee change processing dropped to about one day, errors were nearly eliminated, storage costs were reduced, and auditability improved with clear records of who changed what and when.
