A Lexmark Case Study
Alliander, the independent Dutch network company that manages electricity and gas grids for 3.3 million customers, needed better insight into its purchasing and other business processes. Working with Lexmark and using Perceptive Process Mining, it wanted to reduce process variation, improve accountability, and help staff understand how processes actually ran in practice.
Lexmark implemented Perceptive Process Mining to analyze 120,000 purchasing transactions over 18 months, revealing who did what, when, and where inefficiencies occurred. The result was faster process insight, immediate fixes such as stopping unnecessary printing of digital orders, and a broader rollout to seven additional processes, making eight core processes more transparent overall.
