The Weber County Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Terry Thompson and serving 235,000 residents with 70 sworn officers, had long struggled to develop and maintain comprehensive, legally based policies cost‑effectively. Lexipol delivered continually researched and state‑compliant policy manuals plus an online Knowledge Management System and Daily Training Bulletins (DTBs), allowing WCSO to tailor content, issue updates efficiently, and track policy acknowledgments and training completion. As a result, administrators gain easy access to individual training and policy‑activity reports, DTBs help meet Utah POST in‑service hours, historical policy records simplify litigation research, and leadership reports reduced burden and improved accountability and compliance.
