St. George Fire Protection District, which operates eight stations across 84 square miles in Baton Rouge, LA, struggled with inconsistent, station‑level medical training that left no reliable way to evaluate lesson quality or track completion. The department has been a customer of Lexipol, using Lexipol’s Fire Policies and Training solution along with EMS1 Academy and FireRescue1 Academy to try to standardize training since 2018.

Using Lexipol’s online learning platforms, SGFPD created user groups and certification‑based learning plans so personnel complete level‑specific CEUs online while in‑person time focuses on high‑fidelity skills. Lexipol’s LMS lets administrators assign courses, record monthly classroom sessions, track completions and produce verification with a few clicks—resulting in consistent, accountable training across the district and freeing up significant in‑person training time.
