Seguin Police Department, a mid-size law enforcement agency of 59 sworn officers serving more than 30,000 residents, needed a cost-effective way to conduct roll call training, communicate new policies and procedures, and close training gaps. The department implemented Lexipol’s PoliceOne Academy to manage policy dissemination, assign mandated and specialty courses, and standardize training across divisions.
Lexipol’s PoliceOne Academy provided supervisory and department-wide training, distributed quarterly CR Service newsletters, and delivered videos for roll call use, while its tracking and reporting documented policy review and course completion. As a result, Seguin Police Department improved policy access, streamlined dissemination, reduced liability risk, and increased overall effectiveness and efficiency across the agency.
