TrendKite, a public relations analytics platform, needed a fast, reliable way to characterize and aggregate large volumes of media content to quantify PR impact for its customers. To extract entities and determine tone across diverse sources and regions, TrendKite turned to Lexalytics and its Semantria API to power timely, automated text analysis for its custom dashboards and PR measurement services.
Using Lexalytics’ Semantria API, TrendKite implemented entity extraction and sentiment analysis to deliver article-by-article insights—sentiment, readership, volume of coverage, social engagement, message consistency, perception and competitive intelligence—across 22 languages. The integration enabled deeper, scalable reporting (thousands of users and millions of documents processed per day), dovetailed with TrendKite’s machine-learning stack and frequent code releases, and helped maintain a competitive advantage through faster, more actionable PR measurement.
