Agriculture in the Classroom launches a searchable resource matrix for 7 provinces with Lesia Design and Digital

Agriculture in the Classroom Canada, a non-profit providing educational resources, faced an outdated website that made it difficult for educators and students to find vital information. Their cumbersome platform hosted resources as disconnected PDFs, which severely hindered their mission. They partnered with Lesia Design and Digital, which utilized the DNN platform, to address these usability and information architecture challenges.

Lesia Design and Digital solved this by rebuilding the website with a clean, navigable interface and, most critically, developing a custom web application called the Curriculum Outcomes Matrix. This tool allowed educators to search and manage resources by topic, grade, and province. The vendor also created a public-facing Curriculum Linked Resources tool and activated portals for seven provincial partner organizations, transforming scattered content into an organized, searchable repository. Lesia Design and Digital's work resulted in a more inviting and efficient digital presence that better serves educators across Canada, with ongoing enhancements to ensure the platform remains effective.
