With the S2 Enterprise System, the New Buildings Provide a Secure Environment for the Entire Community

Plainfield High School in Plainfield, IN—a new, budget-conscious campus serving about 1,350 high school students (and thousands more district-wide users)—needed an IP-based access control solution that could be integrated into new construction, centralize multiple technologies, enable instant lockdowns and remote card management, and scale district-wide. The school selected LenelS2’s Enterprise IP-based integrated security management system (deployed by Simplex Grinnell) to meet those requirements.

LenelS2 implemented a web-based, IP-ready system that lets administrators program door open/close schedules, lock down buildings instantly, and add or revoke cardholder access remotely from any Internet-connected computer. The result is tighter, more efficient control over campus access—doors automatically lock at class start, staff receive proactive alerts about open doors, and the district has a scalable platform ready for district-wide expansion.
