Tift Regional Medical Center - Customer Case Study

Tift Regional Medical Center, a 191‑bed hospital serving 12 counties in South Central Georgia, faced a failing legacy security system that could not reliably support multiple buildings and remote sites. The hospital needed an IP‑based, scalable and cost‑effective solution to improve access control, DVR/video capabilities and support future expansion, and selected LenelS2’s S2 NetBox Security Management System paired with Dedicated Micros’ Digital Sprite 2 DVRs with integrator CooperCraft Communications.

LenelS2 implemented the S2 NetBox integrated with Dedicated Micros DVRs over the hospital’s IP network, enabling central management, instant lockdowns, floor‑plan downloads, alert levels and video‑triggered alarms without new cabling. The rollout now supports roughly 120 cameras, 10 DVRs and access control for 65 doors, delivering seamless video integration, faster incident response, simplified administration and a security platform ready to expand as the facility grows.
