School District Takes Proactive Approach to Security Technology, Team Approach, Enable Deterrence and Rapid Response Across District

Granite Falls School District in Granite Falls, Washington, which serves about 2,000 students across five schools, faced costly, hard-to-manage, and disparate security systems (analog cameras, separate DVRs, and no video at the elementary schools). The District sought a unified, proactive security solution and selected LenelS2 — deploying its NetBox access control, NetVR video management, Magic Monitor displays and the Mobile Security Professional app — to standardize and modernize district-wide protection.

Working with systems integrator LONG Building Technologies, LenelS2 leveraged existing infrastructure to deliver the new access-control and video platform under budget, enabling added features like custom panic alarms and IP camera coverage where none existed. The LenelS2 solution standardized security across all five schools, gave police remote video access and door control during incidents, increased staff confidence, and “problems have significantly decreased,” demonstrating measurable operational and safety improvements.
