Pace University Standardizes Access Control S2 Security Solutions Enable System Expansion Across Multiple Campuses

Pace University, a private New York university with campuses in New York City and Westchester, needed to standardize its access control platform across geographically dispersed sites while updating aging hardware and adding integrated video. Working with systems integrator Idesco Corporation, the university selected LenelS2 solutions—including the NetBox Enterprise access control platform, distributed Network Nodes and NetVR video management—to meet current needs and accommodate future growth.

LenelS2’s modular NetBox/NetVR solution was deployed across new residence halls and renovated buildings, enabling a single student access card, centralized management of Assa Abloy WiFi locks, and tight access–video integration. The LenelS2 system helped campus safety identify a vandal in three days, streamlined security operations, and has supported continued, campus-wide expansion while allowing legacy systems to be integrated or phased out.
