Manufacturer Enhances Security, Simplifies Operations Netbox Used to Control Intrusion Alarm System and Manufacturing Shifts

ECHO Incorporated, a Lake Zurich, Illinois manufacturer with a 35‑acre campus and more than 830 employees, needed a scalable, easy‑to‑use access control system to manage hundreds of distinct employee access levels across offices, manufacturing and warehousing. ECHO engaged LenelS2 and deployed the NetBox Extreme access control and event monitoring system to replace their limited legacy solution.

LenelS2’s NetBox, implemented with systems integrator LaMarco Systems and integrated with a Bosch intrusion alarm, created virtually unlimited reader groups and time‑based access profiles, let shift supervisors arm/disarm areas with access cards, and enabled rapid deactivation of lost or terminated cards. The result was simplified shift operations, reduced reliance on numeric codes, centralized control across the 583,000 sq ft facility, and enhanced safety and security throughout the campus.
