Humber College ‘Works Smarter’ With Security

Humber College, a Toronto-based institute serving more than 30,000 students and staff, needed a modern, scalable security solution to secure a rapidly growing campus and simplify access control policies and procedures. Working with systems integrator 360 Advanced Security Corporation, Humber selected LenelS2’s OnGuard access control platform and BlueDiamond mobile credentials to streamline entry for students, faculty and visitors.

LenelS2’s OnGuard system is now deployed campus-wide (supporting more than 1,000 card readers) and LenelS2 BlueDiamond readers and mobile credentials were rolled out in the new Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation (90+ readers) with an additional 20 readers at the Humber International Graduate School and other areas. The deployment—integrated with fire, intrusion and environmental alarms—enabled Phone-as-a-Badge, Pathways and touchless access, delivering a seamless, scalable access experience, simplified management and measurable expansion across campus as Humber converts readers to BlueDiamond over time.
