Edison Properties Adopts New Security Standard Lenels2 Netbox Open Api Enables Custom Integrations Across Real Estate Portfolio

Edison Properties, a Newark-based real estate and property management firm, needed to replace a costly, hard-to-integrate legacy security system across a diverse portfolio that includes Manhattan Mini Storage, Ironside and Edison ParkFast. To modernize operations and gain flexibility, Edison Properties selected the LenelS2 NetBox access control platform as its new enterprise standard.

LenelS2 implemented NetBox (with NetVR video management) and provided an open API that allowed Edison Properties and systems integrator CTCI to build site-specific integrations — from automated tenant credentialing at Manhattan Mini Storage to turnstile and visitor-management integration, tenant partitioning at Ironside, and enhanced vehicle-monitoring at Edison ParkFast. The LenelS2 solution cut operating costs, improved usability, enabled centralized virtual deployments to save time and money, and delivered scalable, measurable benefits such as automated provisioning and tighter incident validation across the portfolio.
