Case Study: FCI Education Graduate advances factoring education in Africa with Lendscape

Lendscape and FCI collaboration fuels Kenyan student’s dreams to bring factoring to Africa

FCI Education Graduate, an individual beneficiary of a bursary program, sought to gain foundational knowledge of factoring to help develop this form of trade finance in Africa. With sponsorship from Lendscape, the student was able to enroll in and complete the FCI Foundation Course on Domestic and International Factoring.

Lendscape funded an initiative providing free course licenses to students in emerging markets. This solution enabled the graduate to gain a comprehensive understanding of factoring online, pass the certification exam, and gain the confidence to pursue a career as a factoring specialist. The program's impact is demonstrated by the graduate's successful completion of the course and their ambition to drive the adoption of factoring to improve SME cash flow and unlock trade finance across Africa.
