Village Roadshow, an Australian entertainment company, faced the challenge of consolidating its fragmented SAP ecosystem hosted across multiple data centers and cloud solutions. Their goal was to optimize costs, drive innovation, and mitigate risk by migrating these critical workloads to the AWS Cloud. Following a recommendation from AWS, they selected vendor Lemongrass, a specialist in SAP to hyperscale cloud migrations, to partner on the project.

Lemongrass implemented a two-phase solution, beginning with an assessment and TCO analysis to design a secure and cost-effective migration path. They then executed a "Lift & Shift" migration of the entire SAP landscape to AWS, including upgrades to the underlying technology stack. The project was completed on time and on budget, resulting in a faster, more resilient system and achieving annual ongoing cost savings of nearly $300,000 for Village Roadshow.
