The customer, Embedded Engineering, a battery manufacturer for industrial vehicles based in Germany, faced a challenge with its legacy data logger system. A key component was nearing end-of-life, and its local server infrastructure could no longer efficiently handle the growing volume of data. They partnered with Lemberg Solutions to evolve the system into a scalable, cloud-based IoT infrastructure that could provide real-time battery health insights.

Lemberg Solutions redesigned the data logger into an LTE-enabled IoT device and migrated the entire system to AWS. They developed a custom MQTT protocol for reliable cloud communication and built a web application for fleet operators.
