EASE delivers a lighter exoskeleton with Lemberg Solutions and 35 custom PCBs

Ease, a tech startup and spin-off from the Technical University of Munich, partnered with Lemberg Solutions to overcome electrical engineering challenges for its industrial exoskeleton. Their prototype needed custom, industrial-grade PCBs that could process multiple sensor inputs in real time, ensure seamless subsystem communication, and minimize both wiring complexity and energy consumption, all within an extremely compact and safe form factor.

Lemberg Solutions delivered the solution by designing custom PCBs using Altium Designer, which included requirements analysis, schematic design, and manufacturing support. The result was a significantly smaller and lighter exoskeleton with minimal wiring, built-in safety features, and reduced energy consumption. This transformed the initial proof-of-concept into a robust entry-level industrial prototype, bringing Ease's product closer to market deployment.
