Archiv Verlag, an online shop for historical artifacts and part of the MDM and Richard Borek Group, faced a challenge as its platform was not integrated with the central SAP system used for order processing and SKU management. This disconnect hindered operational efficiency, prompting the customer to seek an upgrade. They enlisted Lemberg Solutions to revamp the online shop and achieve this crucial SAP integration.

Lemberg Solutions migrated the shop from its legacy Jimdo platform to a new, responsive Drupal Commerce site. Their team integrated the new platform with SAP using OData interfaces, enabling centralized management of orders, products, payments, and refunds. Additional integrations for payments, analytics, and GDPR compliance were also implemented. The project was completed in five months, resulting in a faster, more efficient online shop that now operates in sync with the client's other MDM webshops.
