Cimatron launches motion simulator in 1 year with LEDAS

Cimatron, a leading provider of integrated CAD/CAM solutions, sought to develop a new industrial motion simulation product for its CimatronE software. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor LEDAS and licensed their LGS 3D geometric constraint solver.

LEDAS worked closely with Cimatron for about a year to create the new motion simulator. The solution, which integrates LEDAS's LGS 3D solver with Cimatron's collision detection module, allows users to test tool designs and isolate problems early. This resulted in a robust product that shortens overall design times, which was released as part of CimatronE 10.0.
