Nespresso, a retail company, needed a digital training solution to support its employee training program and effectively launch a new member benefits initiative. The HR Training Specialist sought to move beyond classroom training and provide engaging, on-demand learning for its 503 employees, but faced the challenge that not all staff were enthusiastic about compulsory e-learning modules.

Learningbank implemented a blended learning solution that combined face-to-face training with a gamified digital module. This included a custom-built, interactive Nespresso machine simulation to create a familiar and motivating learning experience. The result was an engaging learning tool that employees enjoyed, with one noting it was among the most fun e-learning they had tried. The solution successfully refreshed existing knowledge, introduced new member benefits, and supported onboarding. It was successfully launched for all 503 employees across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
