Drake University Extended Education faced an aging homegrown online registration system that required extensive manual data entry, lacked flexibility for expanding course offerings, and needed to integrate securely with the campus Banner enrollment system. To address these challenges, Drake selected Learning Stream to implement a more secure, robust registration management solution.

Learning Stream delivered a PCI-compliant registration system using TLS security and GeoTrust protection, and built a data file process to bulk-import student records into Banner. The new system cut time spent inputting credit card and registration information to about one third of the previous effort and the Banner import functionality “probably paid for itself in the first month or two,” while Learning Stream’s responsive customer service helped automate registration and maintain staff productivity.
