Valvoline, a global marketer and supplier of lubricants and automotive services with over 10,300 employees, needed a more dynamic Sales Support Learning Portal for roughly 250 sellers and support staff across North America. Having outgrown a traditional LMS, Valvoline chose Learning Pool Limited to deliver a more engaging, mobile-first experience—implementing the Stream LXP (and Learning Locker LRS) to provide role-specific microlearning, up-to-date product and CRM content, and integrated access from Salesforce.

Learning Pool Limited implemented Stream with AI-driven recommendations, advanced search, mobile access and single sign-on to Salesforce, and deployed Learning Locker to track activity and link learning to sales performance. Rolled out to 250 users in September 2019, the solution drove a cultural shift toward voluntary learning—68% of users accessed and completed non-mandatory activities in one month—and enabled assessments and skills plans to measure and improve seller competence, with further automation planned via Learning Pool’s Waves tool.
