A Learning Pool Limited Case Study

The Play Project - Customer Case Study

The Play Project, which trains paediatric professionals to deliver an evidence-based intervention for young children with autism, needed to convert two days of in-person training into an online, interactive course with peer-to-peer forums and live webinars. To achieve this they partnered with Learning Pool Limited and adopted the Stream (formerly Curatr) platform to provide a social, blended learning environment tailored to their certification needs.

Learning Pool Limited implemented a six-week, unit-based online course with downloadable resources, assignments for peer and instructor feedback, and integrated webinars and notifications. The move to Stream was developed iteratively and produced measurable benefits: trainees were assessed as better prepared than with the former live training, online interaction increased dramatically, certification enrolments grew, and the project won the DevLearn DemoFest 2016 award for Best Blended Learning Solution.
