Tearfund reaches 1,200+ learners with Learning Pool Limited

Tearfund, an international Christian relief and development agency, faced a significant challenge when the pandemic halted its traditional reliance on global travel for staff training and induction. This created an urgent need for a new, long-term approach to learning delivery. To address this, Tearfund partnered with Learning Pool to implement the Learning Pool Platform and utilize Learning Pool Library Content for a smooth transition to a blended learning model.

Learning Pool provided a solution that centralized all training management online, enabling a blend of e-learning, virtual seminars, and a new online induction program. The platform also facilitated the translation of courses into multiple languages for global staff. As a result, Tearfund witnessed a major uptake in learning, with over 1200 staff and partners completing pandemic-related courses. This shift provided greater equal access to training globally, reduced carbon emissions from travel, and delivered potentially life-saving information, such as through its COVID-19 courses.

Tearfund
