SAS, a US-based analytics powerhouse, needed a more tailored curriculum and deeper insight into learner behaviour beyond course completion. Already using a custom e-learning interface and Moodle as their LMS, SAS turned to Learning Pool Limited and its Learning Locker® product to provide a Learning Record Store capable of collecting richer xAPI data from multiple sources.

Learning Pool Limited implemented the open-source Learning Locker® so Moodle and other interfaces feed comprehensive student training histories into a central LRS. This gave SAS far more granular, engagement-focused data (not just completion rates), enabling them to identify high- and low-use content, improve course assets, refine the learner experience, and move toward personalized learning paths.
