A Learning Pool Limited Case Study

Preview of the The Football Association (FA) Case Study

Offering grassroots training to England's coaches

The Football Association (FA) needed to raise awareness of The Boot Room — its online home for grassroots coaching resources — and to clarify the pathways for people wanting to get into coaching. To help launch and promote these learning initiatives, The Football Association (FA) commissioned Learning Pool Limited to produce short, custom video content to explain The Boot Room and guide prospective coaches.

Learning Pool Limited created a one-minute promotional explainer and a 90-second “Get into Coaching” video, combining bespoke animations with FA footage and high-profile voiceovers (Alex Scott and Gareth Southgate). The promotional film has been played at Wembley, in the St George’s Park hotel, across 50 county FA sites and the FA’s Twitter (3.5m followers), logging 20,000 plays (with wider public reach) while The Boot Room now attracts near 100,000 visitors a month; the coaching explainer has been distributed by all 50 county FAs and has recorded over 7,000 views.
