NPS Group set out to transform its traditional learning and development approach into a learner-driven, blended model that supported induction, knowledge sharing, just-in-time e-learning and an integrated appraisal process. To achieve this, NPS Group engaged Learning Pool Limited to provide an LMS solution—Learning Hive—with mobile access and an integrated online appraisal to replace their more static HR system.
Learning Pool Limited implemented the Learning Hive LMS, delivering a one-stop learning hub, mobile access, reporting and an online appraisal. The results include appraisal completion rising to 100% (up from 64% the previous year and 82% by the appraisal deadline), high user satisfaction (94% of employees and line managers found the system easy to use), faster appraisal preparation (75% of employees, 88% of managers) and improved reporting for succession planning; NPS has also launched professional forums and is moving all training bookings into Learning Hive.
