Learning Pool’s LMS and content authoring tool, Adapt helped streamline processes and improve learner record keeping

Nursing Times, read by over 25,000 nurses and midwives and hosting more than 5,000 clinical articles, faced the challenge of helping practitioners meet Nursing and Midwifery Council revalidation requirements (including hours, CPD and reflections) while giving managers reliable, auditable records. To solve this, Nursing Times engaged Learning Pool Limited to deliver an LMS and the Adapt content authoring tool to streamline tracking and learning delivery.

Learning Pool Limited implemented the NT Learning platform (launched August 2015) using Adapt content, an online “learning passport,” and a Manager Dashboard so managers can report on and plan Revalidation activities. The solution has already seen thousands of nurses record their CPD via NT Learning, improved learner record keeping and reporting, saved significant time for users and managers, and generated positive feedback on usability and staff confidence.
