Learning Pool helps RBH to 'SMILE'

RBH, the UK’s leading hotel management company with a portfolio of over 45 hotels, needed a scalable, cost-effective way to deliver statutory hospitality training, reduce classroom time, and keep training records accurate amid seasonal staffing and rapid expansion. To meet these goals they partnered with Learning Pool Limited, adopting a Learning Pool LMS–based approach and content tools (including Adapt Builder) to replace an underused intranet and convert a large portion of face‑to‑face training to online.

Working with Learning Pool Limited, RBH launched SMILE (Simply Magical and Inspiring Learning Environment), a one‑stop learning hub with single sign‑on, HR synchronization, audience profiles and around 200 courses (Learning Pool hospitality suite, The Bar Academy, apprenticeship support, etc.). The solution is available to roughly 2,000 employees across 45 hotels and has driven measurable impact: 92% statutory training completion, an 85% classroom‑to‑online conversion, faster back‑to‑work assessments, improved reporting and a strengthened learning culture reinforced by a hotel scorecard and “100 Club” recognition.
