Warwickshire County Council needed a more scalable, cost‑effective Dementia Awareness Programme: their original two‑day classroom model ran 20 sessions for 400 people, cost £37.50 per person and required 800 days away from the office on a £15,000 budget. To expand reach and reduce disruption they engaged Learning Pool Limited to explore e‑learning and blended learning options.

Learning Pool Limited delivered a blended solution of seven e‑learning modules plus a half‑day facilitated workshop, enabling 820 learners with just 410 days away from the office, cutting cost per person to £18.30 (a £19.20 saving), doubling participation and halving time out of the office. The change freed L&D to focus on action plans, incorporated Dementia Friends sessions, and helped Warwickshire County Council progress its Dementia Friendly Communities objectives.
