WaterAid had been using a basic LMS mainly as a repository for e-learning and needed a more comprehensive solution to manage all learning events and materials, track activity, and deliver consistent development opportunities for staff across four continents. After evaluating several providers, WaterAid selected Learning Pool Limited for its functionality, flexibility and strong design and support capabilities.

Learning Pool Limited built a refreshed learning hub and LMS experience, helping with design, course review and ongoing technical and pedagogical support, and enabled blended courses in multiple languages as well as centralized management of e-learning, face-to-face and webinar events. The new platform delivered rapid uptake: in six months WaterAid published over 50 courses, onboarded almost 500 active users and recorded more than 650 completions, while gaining better visibility and tracking to target development and measure ROI.
