Case Study: London Borough of Enfield achieves doubled engagement and streamlined staff development with Learning Pool Limited's ILEARN

Launching the ILEARN LMS for easily accessible and trackable learning

The London Borough of Enfield, serving about 334,000 residents and with roughly 4,000 staff, needed to move beyond an administrative LMS that mainly handled seminar bookings to a digital, trackable learning platform. To achieve this they partnered with Learning Pool Limited to deploy a modern LMS branded as ILEARN and to use Learning Pool’s off-the-shelf catalogues and the Adapt content authoring tool for bespoke and accessible learning content.

Learning Pool Limited implemented ILEARN, adding off-the-shelf and custom content, a structured competency framework, and a formalised PDR/appraisal workflow, plus a rebrand and streamlined onboarding (the system was offline for only half a day during the build). The solution delivered broader, consistent and more accessible training for the Council’s 4,000 staff, empowered employees and managers through clearer performance processes, and materially increased engagement — logins doubled month‑on‑month following the rebrand and PDR launch.
