InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) needed to equip its global leadership base with the skills to have more productive workplace conversations to support its ambitious growth goals. To address this challenge, IHG partnered with Learning Pool and utilized the Learning Pool Platform to deliver a global Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

Learning Pool implemented a solution using its Learning Pool Platform as a central hub for the MOOC, featuring curated content, weekly challenges, and live webinars. The results were significant, generating over 30,000 contributions and 1,500 user videos from 42 countries. Critically, Learning Pool's xAPI analysis via its Learning Record Store showed that 50% of participants committed to changing their behavior and 12% had tried new techniques, providing measurable insight into the program's impact on the organization.
