Case Study: Hertfordshire County Council achieves personalised, on-demand learning and higher engagement with Learning Pool Limited

A Learning Pool Limited Case Study

Preview of the Hertfordshire County Council Case Study

Hertfordshire County Council empower users to own and personalise their learning at their own pace

Hertfordshire County Council, the upper-tier local authority for Hertfordshire with around 8,000 employees, needed a cohesive, flexible way to deliver training across a geographically dispersed and diverse workforce. Face-to-face programmes were too costly and the LMS had to serve both HR/L&D and specialist trainers, so they selected Learning Pool Limited and its iLearn+ platform for its reporting, audience management and blended-learning capabilities.

Learning Pool Limited implemented iLearn+ to centralise online and face-to-face courses, integrate HR data, host off‑the‑shelf and Adapt-created content, and let service teams build specialist training. The platform now supports about 11,642 active users (roughly 500 daily), logs nearly 150,000 course completions, increased returning visitors to 49% after internal marketing, and helped drive a 2.6% rise in Summer Reading Challenge participation, while improving tracking, reporting and administrative efficiency.
