Helping UniSuper to build its business resilience capability

UniSuper, an Australian superannuation fund serving the higher education and research sector, needed to move its compliance learning from a “checkbox” exercise to an engaging, measurable business resilience programme. To do this it engaged Learning Pool Limited to help design an xAPI-driven approach (with Learning Locker-style learning record capabilities) to establish baseline knowledge and confidence across areas such as crisis management, IT disaster recovery and emergency response.

Learning Pool Limited worked with UniSuper and subject matter experts to deliver a 10-week adaptive microlearning programme, using an xAPI data model to capture participation, success rates, completion statistics and self-rated confidence before and after modules, and driving engagement with digital postcards and interactive scenarios. The vendor’s approach produced weekly xAPI insights used to refine delivery, and UniSuper saw self-rated confidence increase by 24% to a total of 92%, demonstrating measurable improvements in detecting email scams, knowing evacuation procedures and identifying malware threats.
