Norwood, a leading UK Jewish charity supporting vulnerable children, families and people with learning disabilities, struggled with low uptake of online training among its 2,000-strong workforce because many frontline staff lacked IT skills. To tackle this, Norwood partnered with Learning Pool Limited to develop accessible online learning courses and supporting services tailored to their front-line teams.

Learning Pool Limited worked with Norwood to co-design and pilot visually engaging modules, bring in a dedicated Instructional Designer, and refine content with stakeholder and marketing input, while Norwood introduced IT trainer-led workshops and drop-in support. The programme increased staff confidence with technology and reduced instructor-led training by 13 days per person, producing an annual cost saving of £180,000.
