Edinburgh Leisure 'ELevate' their learning to new levels

Edinburgh Leisure, the city’s largest physical activity provider with more than 30 venues and around 950 permanent staff plus seasonal workers, needed to replace a dusty, hard-to-use ELevate content repository that didn’t support fast authoring, mobile access for largely part-time roles, or guaranteed uptake of mandatory compliance training. To address these challenges they partnered with Learning Pool Limited and its LMS platform to modernise their digital learning offering.

Learning Pool Limited delivered a new ELevate in 12 weeks, deploying core and compliance modules (safeguarding, health & safety, fire safety), certifications with recertification schedules, an induction programme and a GDPR module, alongside venue demos and manager-facing automated reports. The solution gave managers just-in-time access to up-to-date compliance data and learners a quick, engaging experience; feedback has been highly positive and the organisation now has stronger visibility and control over mandatory training.
