Bringing a 'fresh trend' in learning to New Look

New Look, the fast-fashion retailer with over 590 UK stores and a presence in 66 countries, faced ongoing technical instability and poor support from a legacy Moodle-based LMS. To replace their unreliable system and better serve around 15,000 employees (12,000 in retail, 500 in buying/merchandising/design and the rest in support and distribution), New Look engaged Learning Pool Limited to rebuild and relaunch The Academy.

Learning Pool Limited delivered its LMS standard implementation—running Day One Induction, soft-skills and MS Office training—integrated with New Look’s HR database, added multi-language switching for international territories, and provided iPad/PC access in stores. The vendor also created a new on-brand template and added dozens of courses from Learning Pool’s Leadership Catalogue, scaling the platform to ~15,000 users, improving navigation and course discovery, and enabling future plans (Adapt authoring, LXP Stream, one-click reporting) to drive higher engagement and a stronger learning culture.
