Atlas Hotels' engaging success with new learning platform

Atlas Hotels, an award-winning operator of Holiday Inn Express and Hampton by Hilton properties and the largest Holiday Inn Express franchisee in Europe, needed a new learning solution to manage training across two brands, combat high staff churn and improve learner engagement. Finding their previous hospitality-specific platform disengaging and administratively heavy, Atlas Hotels chose Learning Pool Limited to deliver a fast, adaptable LMS and authoring capability—branded internally as “Ed”—that could be rolled out quickly and tailored to different audiences.

Learning Pool Limited implemented Ed with its LMS, Adapt Builder customisation, a catalogue of 100+ ready-made courses and bespoke reporting, plus HR integration, face-to-face bookings, badges/certification and automated module releases. The platform now serves around 1,000–1,100 staff across 47 hotels, with about 120 courses available after six months and 17,792 course completions, driving higher mandatory completion rates, improved learner engagement and significant time savings for L&D.
