Case Study: Humentum delivers scalable, mobile PMD Pro training for Action Against Hunger with Learning Pool Limited

A 95% recommendation rating delivered to Humentum/Action Against Hunger for mobile-learning

Humentum, working with Action Against Hunger in north-east Nigeria, faced the challenge of delivering PMD Pro project management certification and contextualized organizational training in a conflict zone where face-to-face learning was impractical. To reach staff deployed in refugee camps and other remote locations, Humentum engaged Learning Pool Limited to deliver the program via its social learning platform Stream (formerly Curatr).

Learning Pool Limited used Stream to create a scalable, localized blended program that combined PMD Pro content with Action Against Hunger’s own policies, enabled remote facilitation and mobile access, and provided performance reporting for weekly/bi‑weekly updates. Over 14 weeks nearly 100 people completed the course; 87% said their learning objectives were well met, 75% found the software easy to use, 95% would recommend the course and 90% said they would take another online course—significant reach and engagement achieved at lower cost.
