Health Care Provider Improves Patient Safety with Automated Monitoring

Health Care Provider, a major American healthcare organization, needed a faster and more reliable way to monitor more than 2,000 software applications, including 25 highly critical tier-one systems that support patient safety and daily operations. Before automation, these checks were performed manually by subject matter experts, which made monitoring time-consuming and dependent on specialized staff.

Using the LEAPWORK Automation Platform, the team built automated monitoring flows for application status and task performance, running them on remote “headless canaries” in production-like environments. LEAPWORK helped the team automate about 250 test cases in under a month, cover 11 tier-one applications, and move to a pace of roughly one application per month, while automatically sending alerts on failures and exporting performance data to BI dashboards for ongoing tracking.
