Pixelberry Studios, a bootstrapped indie mobile game developer best known for High School Story, faced a tight timeline and a strategic dilemma: within a week of submitting its global launch build it needed a way to offer free in-game currency for the launch weekend to support a major marketing push, and then decide whether to keep the promotion running.
