IPM Reduces Purchased Inventory by 30% and Continuously Improves Overall Efficiency with LeanDNA

Integrated Packaging Machinery (IPM), a West Michigan-based maker and integrator of high-speed food and beverage packaging systems, faced data integrity issues in their Epicor ERP that made lead-time visibility and MinMax ordering settings unreliable and slowed decision-making. To tackle high purchased inventory while maintaining high COTD, IPM partnered with LeanDNA, adopting LeanDNA’s cloud-to-cloud integration and inventory management tools.

LeanDNA implemented a cloud integration, Inventory Actions, PFEP reporting and the Inventory Optimization Graph to clean ERP data, enable self-service reporting for supply chain teams, and reset MinMax policies. Working with LeanDNA, IPM cut purchased inventory from $8.16M to $5.76M (a 30% reduction in six months) with a projected $5.25M year-end target (36% reduction), while improving data quality and saving IT and supply chain time.
