ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Sales division faced the challenge of getting trade teams to work faster and more insightfully with large, messy datasets. To raise productivity and reinforce the teams’ value, ENGIE turned to Le Wagon and enrolled staff in Le Wagon’s hands-on data bootcamp to move traders beyond Excel and into code-driven analysis.

Le Wagon delivered an intensive five-day bootcamp covering Python basics, data structures, NumPy/Pandas for analysis, data manipulation and interactive visualizations, enabling automation of heavy data tasks and faster, better recommendations. The program became ENGIE’s #1 internal offering—300 employees trained across 20 batches with an average NPS of 77 in 2022—and helped traders switch from Excel to Python, save time on daily tasks, improve collaboration and extract clearer insights.
